The KODA Roadmap
One contract. One contact. A plan you can follow.
KODA remodels rooms and spaces for Des Moines metro homes and businesses. We come to you, coordinate the work, and keep communication practical from day one.
See the roadmap01
Start with your space
We meet where the work will happen, listen to how you live or work, and make sure the project is the right fit before we move forward.
02
Build a clear scope
We align on the room, the priorities, the investment range, and the decisions that need to be made before construction begins.
03
Plan selections and schedule
You see the major milestones, selections, and timing in one organized plan, so you know what is coming and when.
04
Prepare for the disruption
Before work begins, we talk through access, dust, pets, kids, work hours, and when the space will be unavailable. No surprises is the goal.
05
Remodel with visibility
You have one point of contact and a clear view of the schedule and selections as the project moves forward.
06
Walk through the finish
We review the completed space together, confirm the details, and make sure you are ready to use it with confidence.
A clear fit matters
What we do, and what we don't.
KODA is built for focused room and space remodels. Being direct about the fit protects your time and the finished result.
What we do
- We remodel rooms and spaces for homes and businesses.
- We come to you, no showroom appointment required.
- We manage one contract and one clear point of contact.
What we don't do
- We don't build brand new homes. We focus on enhancing your existing space.
- We don't hand projects off between vendors. We are your one stop shop.
- We don't offer financing, we leave that to the financial experts.
Client praise
The experience should feel as good as the finished space.
"The whole process was easy from start to finish. We shared our ideas, worked through the selections, and everything came together quickly. Dakota and the team were great to work with, and we love how our new bar turned out."

Basement Bar Addition
"Working with Dakota on our kitchen remodel was a great experience. He was helpful, responsive, and made the many decisions feel much easier. He listened to what we wanted and helped create a kitchen that feels personal to our home. We're so happy with the finished space."
Heather S.
Kitchen Remodel
"Dakota was a great help throughout my kitchen renovation, offering excellent design recommendations and staying involved through completion. He was responsive, consistent, and made the process much easier. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome."
Deb F.
Kitchen Renovation
"Working with Dakota on renovating our bathrooms was a great experience. He helped bring our vision to life without ever pushing his own preferences, and he was attentive to the details throughout the project. If we had a concern, he was quick to address it and make sure the work matched the plan. He even went out of his way to help us handle an unexpected issue outside the original scope of the project. We would happily work with Dakota again."
